BAYLI is an artist well-acquainted with the music industry. She was previously a member of the five-piece group The Skins, who were under the guidance of Rick Rubin, and currently she’s a songwriter under Warner Chappell, penning lines for the likes of Duckworth, Jesse McCartney, Whipped Cream, Baby Goth and more. The first time she’s making an appearance on TMR as a solo artist is with fire new single ‘boys lie’. At a little under two minutes, this track is a moreish snack of bouncing 808s and staccato guitar lines, over which BAYLI delivers her sermon of truth. It all flows with ease, those bop-along hooks and ad lib verses blending into one another like a really good eyeshadow palette.
